Providing Housing and Support Services

The Supportive Housing program allows individuals with mental illness or HIV/AIDS and their families to live independently.  It provides financial assistance toward an apartment and assists individuals in developing support plans.  21 of the 62 beds in this program are dedicated to individuals who are homeless.

Eligibility: Income eligible Schenectady County residents, 18 years of age or older, with a primary diagnosis of mental illness or HIV illness.
